Hair, makeup... suggestions? PROM?

So I'm going to my prom soon...

Does anyone have any suggestions on what hair I should do for prom? I'm thinking down, big curls, but i'm not quite sure yet. (I have long brown hair, mid-back)

Also, I have to figure out what type of makeup I want to do. I'm not sure if I want to do something a little more dramatic, or something just natural.

I'll be going to a hair salon on Tuesday, getting free hair and makeup done. Then I'll be photographed in my prom dress (It's this whole thing where the salon wants pictures of customers for ads and stuff). So, I basically have a free trial run of what will be done on prom night.

Any suggestions would be awesome!

Hair: Work the curls but focus on streamlining them down your spine. Try a partial french braid for the crown of your head with loose curls falling down the back (perhaps some rhinestone gem-pins holding the 'do together).

Makeup: Keep the lips light and the eyes dark for that smokey dramatic look. Go with pearl, silver, and charcoal for the shadow with dark lashes and a sliver of black eyeliner.

Just say to the salon that you want any style but not untidy. If you wore makeup just do it a little more dramatic.You can use red,green,blue,silver,black any color but dark.

or you could do a half up half down

or a poof

anything with curls will look great :)

You have a nice figure. I'd wear some soft curls with a clip and I'd wear bright red lipstick and some roughe if you are a brunnette. That ought to look pretty dashing.

and makeup.. anything goes. depends on your shoes and purse and eyes :)

and i say don't wear a necklace.. maybe small earrings and a bracelet. no necklace b/c of the silver thin g on the dress.
