PROM UPDO for difficult hair?

I have curly brown hair that is just two inches above my shoulders and all one length. What are some easy (at home) formal hairstyles I can wear to prom?

If it helps, my dress is a halter with a low back, and I'm not wearing any jewelry.

okay firs toff try changing the texture for one night by straighting it?

or find a kick butt hair pin or head band with lots of sparkle or style and use it as either a cool head band or to pull hair to one side.

Well an easy way to solve this is go to a good hairdressing salon and get them to do it for you beforehand! It'll look fabulous that way. Sorry can't help with at home stuff, hope you find a good solution though.
