Two questions about hair for prom???

Okay first question is:

I am wanting this certain hairstyle but am afraid that my hair would be too short. So here is a pic of how short my hair is %26amp; then a pic of the hair that I want for prom:

oh wow that dress is soo PRETTY =) and your hair looks long enough to me. But you hair when it is curled like that will be shorter bc of the curl but i dnt think to much i had my hair done like that last yr for prom but my hair was to my sholders the nonce it was curled it was a little above my shoulders. but if you getting it professionaly done then tell the lady u dnt want you hair to be super short looking that u want to keep ur long length and she'll do looser curls instead of super tight, thats wat i told the lady and it turned out beautiful =) i hope i helped and by the way ur going to look fabulous at prom =) very pretty dress =) xoxo

Your hair wouldn't be too short,just make sure you do it right.Maybe have a friend,or a relative that could do it for you.and I also love the dress,its soooo pretty! =)

Good choice that hair style is really pretty! Your hair will probably be shorter (not a lot) so you could try like a wavy curl thats not so curling iron. I think either will look great!

Your hair is not too short, the style would look great with the dress and the dress is spectacular. However, one thing to consider is the texture of your own hair which appears to be naturally very straight. Try having your hair styled as in the picture before the prom to see how well it will hold that style and stay curled. If the curl does not hold, you could end up with limp hair falling in your face as you dance. You might consider a variation of this style with the front clipped back and then curled.
