updo or hair pulled-up halfway? my dress is strapless and has detailing at the bust, and the bottom goes out at the waist. some call it a "poofy" dress - its big and fancy. im terrible at describing. check it out if you'd like: http://www.preciousformals.com/precious_... any advice on hair and jewelry would be great =]

that dress is so pretty!!!!!!! I read in seventeen magazine that when you wear a strapless dress it's best to wear your hair down to balance everything out. I would wear it down and curl it. and for jewlery a nice pair of earrings and a cute clutch. i wouldnt wear a necklace because it will be too much with the detailing on top.

i think you should wear your hair in some sort of updo, because if you wear it down or halfway it might hide some of the detail on the dress. also, you might not want to wear a necklace because it might take away from the dress. or if you really want to wear one a small necklace so it won't look too much with the detailing of the dress.

i read that some hair down is good on strapless but if you have nice shoulders like the model than definately do an updo

Just copy the model! Or if you have a longer neck, pull your hair up halfway. Curl the ends. Whichever you do, leave little curls hanging out the top. Copy the model's jewelry. Find the jewelry at claire's. Try shopping online.

Also, if you put your hair in an updo, accessorize with an elegant yet simple necklace. That will make sure you won't get stuck with the ''bare'' look like the model in the picture.

Your dress is so pretty. I think you should wear your hair half up because your shoulders and upper chest would look to bare with it all the way up .. A simple necklace with that hair woud look simply gorgeous. I hope you have a great time at your prom !

Beautiful dress first of all! I'd go with an updo and maybe a few stray curls. As for jewelry I wouldn't go flashy, keep it elegant. Maybe diamond stud earrings or some that hang down barely past your earlobe. Because of the beading at the bust, you could get away with no necklace like the woman in the picture. Many shops also sell clear shoes (like Cinderella slippers) or you could go with silver heels. Have a great time!
