Prom hair for school prom!!?

I went to Fantastic Sams to get a haircut and asked how much would it cost to put my hair in an updo and they said $75, do u think thats a fair price concidering its not a upscale salon.. I called and an upscale salon starts at $55...if hair is long more... hair is an inch pass shoulders and is wavy.... so what do u think?

Take a picture of what you want to the salon with you and ask them how much it would be for that style. When I went to prom, I actually went to a beauty school and they did my hair up great there and it only cost me like $15 (including a tip).

I would say that is to much. Especially if you called an upscale salon and they start at $55, If I was you that would be the place i would go. there is no way i would be going to a place that isnt that great and charges out the booty.

$75 is too much especially if you don't live in NYC or LA. I did my daughters for her prom it was an half and half. I pulled the side hair back into a ponytail and twisted it up into a French knot and left the back hang down. It is not that hard to do especially if you can get your mother to do it.

If better salons have cheaper prices I would go there whether its a good price or not. (In my opinion its not) my prom was at the end of April and I had my friend do my hair (shes good at doing hair) anyways I would check out other salons.

I would definitely go to an upscale salon. It's your prom and you don't want it to look bad. $55 is a great price to pay to get your hair done for the prom.

well in my case sisters cause its to expensive cause are mom does hair. For your cause its just cause they had a bad year on sales so they made them expensive there way expensive

$75 is WAY too much. I am getting mine done at a great salon for $35. But generally under $50 at a nice salon is good.
