Prom hair and makeup help please!?

I have my senior prom in a few weeks and I was hoping to get some advice for makeup and hair. My dress it A-shaped, black and strapless, with a satin/silk like texture. I am chinese, and have yellow tinted skin, straight dark brown hair and round (but not too big) eyes. Most of the features of my face are small relative to one another, and my face is heart shaped. I'm 5'5, and i have no idea what I should do with my hair. My usual makeup is just eyeliner to bing out my eyes a little more. I want to go for a sweet/pretty look, not so much sexy.

Chinese?? I'm asian also (I'm Japanese)! It sounds like a nice dress, maybe u can curl ur hair a bit with a curling iron and let it hang down. For your make up, some MORE eyeliner, mascara, and light or pale eyeshadow. And some pink or rasberry lip gloss.

Well, I think you should curl the bottoms ends of your hair and add some hair spray to it. Then for your makeup, you should put foundation from MAC(or whatever you have lol) then put pink lip gloss, pink eyeshadow and black eyeliner. I hope I helped youu!!! :)

Try this hairstyle:

It's very simple, but sweet and elegant.

This is also lovely:

....and would go well with such classic, dark hair as yours.

For a more causual and simple hairdo, such curls as these would be gorgeous:

Perhaps you could add a flower accessory...

No matter what style you choose to wear, one of the most inportant things is making sure your hair is in optimum health.

Try using a deep conditioning treatment once or twice a week leading up to the big day. Your hair will thank you for it by being smooth and shining. Try Aussie Three Minute Miracle or for a home made treatment, use olive oil.

As for makeup, I suggest having the face quite natural, but playing up the eyes with dark eyeliner, mascara and fairly bright shadow.

Apply a natural looking lip gloss, in a perhaps a pink shade, to add a sheen to the lips.

I wish you the best of luck, and I am sure that you will be beautiful.
