If you're going to get it done in a salon, look through the catalogues there, and ask the stylist what they think would look good in your hair.

If you're trying to do it yourself, you're going to have a harder time. I recommend doing something really simple.

otherwise, google it! there are a ton of prom hairstyle sites available online, and yahoo answers people won't know what kind of updo you like.
