Well I did my hair like that so I'll tell you. You can pull your hair up in a ponytail only half, leave the under/bottom part down, then take three pieces of hair (in the ponytail) and braid it, wrap it around the ponytail holder (bobby pin's to hold it), then take the under/bottom part of your hair and curl it, (If you want curl the ponytail hair), then add a small hair clip or pin what ever you prefer. If you want you can take two front parts of your hair when you do the ponytail and have them frame your face (curl the bottom of them is cute too). I hope that I helped.

if your hair is fairly long than you could curl it all over and put the sides up into a fauxhawk. this is what i did and it looked really cute.
