my dress is strapless and red and black. should i get an updo or leave it down or what?

if its strapless then you can either wear it all up or all down or half/half and it will still look good.

if ur getting it done somewhere, bring ur dress and ask the hair stylist what she/he thinks.

Well do u think u look better with ur hair down or up?? i just had my prom yesterday and I left it down and put it in curls. Everybody said it looked really good. but whatever you think u looks better.

hmm. well if your dress is short the do an updo. and possibly put a cute red clip or red accessories in the updo. but if your dress is long then wear your hair down to match the style of your dress

I like both. Here some pictures of different styles. If you're going to a salon to get your hair done bring your dress and some picture and ask them what they think.
