Curls Hair for prom !!!!! plz help?

for my prom i really want to have curl hair, and i want to do it my self cos i no exactly how i want it, but no matter what i do i cant keep big curls in for longer than 10 minutes and smaller curls in for like an hour, ive tried hairspray before and after curling , and one have an ideas? plz help!!!

try a stronger hairspray - like the old lady aquanet stuff - that stuff could hold small animals to a wall! or else try a curl serum before using the curling iron. if that doesn't work, you'll have to be very direct with a salon and have them do it. they've got the amazing expensive hair stuff ....

I also have wanted that style.... here's wat you do....

if you have a really big curling iron and thermal heat spray

before you curl your hair , wash it with shampoo and conditioner. let it dry naturally then before you curl it spray a little bt of hair spray and thermal spray then while you have a curling iron in your hair, spray it with the thermal stuff and DON"T spray the hair spray on it after otherwise the hair spray will have the little scraglies showing and dont play withituntil after yor hair is cooled otherwise h curl will fall out!
