For prom....... I would go strait with a high side pony tail, and glitter on your eyes, with one string of beeds in your hair. It's hot. with some hair on the opposite side of the pony left down. Yeah. That would look good.

Balance it with your dress. If you can achieve waves (I can't and I'm always jealous of the ones who can), then go with waves. Curls are sometimes too much and can look bad after a while. Straitening it will risk getting poofy if you accidentally get your hair wet.

i say go straight because i have curly hair and it is not easy to handle you have to comb your hair everyday very good not like if you have straight hair. with straight hair you can just wake up in the morning and head to wherever without worrying about your hair. and if you ever want curls just get those heated curlers trust me you wont want to have curls
