First of all, there is a new product I just learned about and I like it a lot. Not sure if its great for your prom, but there called "Glowbys" there little hair clip-ons with a really sparkley clip part. The bottom part has glitter and light-up sparkles. What I had for my prom was an up do too. It's kinda hard to explain. It was up in curls quite high with 2 curls on each side of my face. My tiara jut sat on top.
