I want to do my hair for prom, but not an up-do or anything girly..what would you suggest?

Okay, obviously I'm a girl and I have mildly long hair. I'm wearing a tux to prom and I don't want one of those wacky up-do's all my friends are getting. My tux is a zoot-suit...kinda' 1930's gangster styled and anything not "slicked back" or with a gallon of hairspray would be perfect. I just can't think of what to do.

To compliment the tux, go for something girlie, but not fussy girlie. Something that keeps your hair down and loose.

Probably, you should get a hair trim, and then either add curls, waves, or straighten your hair.

Or, you could go with a 1930s hairstyle.
