I need help with my hair!!?

i am a girl and i am rolling my hair for prom, but i want soft curls all over, sadly, my hair doesnt hold curls at all! what should i do!!!???

Try to not wash your hair that day, curl will hold better when it has a little "dirt" in it. The day before wash your hair and use some moose or gel for hold. (If going a day makes your hair oily then take a small amount of baby powder in your fingers rub right at the root, this will soak up the oil. When I say small I mean small to much will leave your hair white looking)

Spray your hair with a styling hair spray. (It should say so on the bottle, nothing with a strong hold will do for this step or you wont be able to run your fingers through it) Then place your curlers in. When they have cooled off, take your blowdryer on the cool setting and blowdry your hair. This will lock in the curl.

Once you take it down, you can roll the curl around your finger and pin it to your head so that you can take it down right before you leave. Spray again with a styling hair spray.(Once you are ready to go take it down and spray with Paul Mitchell or a product equivalent)

If skipping this step then take down the curlers run your fingers through it (not a brush) and place the curls where and how you want them spray with a strong hold hairspray, I recommend Paul Mitchell freeze and shine (It has a great hold and wont leave your with white residue like some other sprays)

Always wear a button down shirt so you can take your shirt off easily.

Roll it wet and blow dry it on the low power setting, then spray it before you take the rollers out. That should do it.

Got to a stylest your hair probably needs a professional. Plus they can do a great job! You should go to a cheep afforable place that does a good job (like supercuts).

try going to the hair salon and get it done and it doesn't cost that much. you can just go to like great clips or something

if you want soft curls for prom and ur hair doesnt hold styles then try this:::

get ur hair professionally done and tell them to make the curls tighter than normal. (bcoz if u dont than half way thru prom you'll only have weird looking waves not soft curls) when u curl ur hair, they fall after a certain amount of time according to your hair type.

also, make sure the stylist uses a lot of hairspray. make sure it doesnt look "crusty" so ask her to lightly mist each curl instead of just spritzing the whole head. (so the top of ur head doesnt look crusty)

well you can use hair spritz which will keep your curl intact even if you're dancing but the downside is that it's gonna be stiff so don't let your date run his hands through your hair
